Financial assistance in the event of cancer, heart attack or stroke
Under CIMB’s health insurance policy, we will pay a lump sum of up to S$75,0001 in the event that:
You are diagnosed with a major cancer, including melanoma; or
You suffer a stroke; or
You suffer a heart attack or a heart condition requiring major heart surgery. This includes heart bypass, heart valve surgery or surgery to the aorta.
Early cancer benefit
We will pay 20% of the Sum Insured as stipulated in our insurance policy if you are diagnosed with early cancer, which includes:
Carcinoma in situ of specified organs
Early prostate cancer
Early thyroid cancer
Early bladder cancer
Early chronic lymphocytic leukaemia or early melanoma
Automatic step-up of sum insured
Your coverage for cancer treatment and other medical care will increase by 5% on the insurance policy anniversary for the first 5 years until it reaches a maximum of 125%. If your original Sum Insured is S$75,000, it will be increased to S$93,7501 at the end of the 5th year.
